Hi, I'm Kat :)

I've been shooting 35mm film since I inherited my grandpa's film camera in 2021 (shoutout Grandpa Jim). I enjoy the pace, distinct feel, and quality of film photography. My work is rooted in curiosity, connection, and capturing the complexity and beauty of life.

I enjoy capturing moments of all kinds - portraits, concerts, events, spaces, pets, weddings, engagements, pregnancy, babies, and am always open to new ideas.

Whether I’m photographing a person, a place, an event, or a simple moment, I want the images to feel genuine, intimate, and alive. My hope is to create mementos of the people and moments that inspire and matter most to you.

I’ll create a comfortable, laid-back environment so you can relax, be yourself, and let the moment unfold naturally. I'm based in Portland, OR and am happy to travel.

Pricing

I offer both hourly and day rates, based on the needs of each shoot. For shoots requiring travel, travel expenses will be added to the final price.

 

What is included in the cost? We'll start with a planning call to sort out logisitics and discuss hopes and dreams. Then we will do the shoot and capture the moment! Next I will develop the film, edit, and prepare the final gallery and send it your way. I'm so excited to work together!
